Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Jerry Douglas Alewine and the late Ruby Nell Haynes Alewine. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church where she loved being a Sunday school teacher. Faye retired from AnMed Medical Center.
Survivng in addition to her father of the home are: her sister, Ronda Roper of Belton; two nephews, Kevin (Angie) Roper and Kyle Roper; her niece, Jennifer (Ray) Holbrooks; and her great-niece, Henley Mae Roper.
Funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday March 19, 2026 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Krieger and Rev. Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
