Born in Texas, he was a son of the late Tommilee Newberry Holland. Tom was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Tom was always goofy and uplifting in spirit. He was always there for his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his fiancee Jessie Mitchell of the home; his daughter Kaitlyn Holland of Greer; his step-daughter Lela Rose Chastain of the home; two brothers: Michael Tolett (Shawna) and Todd Hutson (Christiana) both of TX; two sisters: Lisa Maikranz (Ed) of AL and Lia Wood (Doug); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Tony Turner and Tim Neatherlin; and three sisters: Livia Turner, Lori Turner and Tia Hutson.
Tom’s life will be celebrated by a gathering of friends and family, along with military honors, from 2-4 P.M. Saturday April 18, 2026 at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path. A private burial will take place at M.J. ‘Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
