John Robert “Bob” Abrams, 58, of Hodges died Monday, October 26 2026 at his home.
Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of the late John Abrams and Barbara Elaine Smith. He attended Mission Baptist Church in Iva. Bob was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School, and was retired from his work as a technician for Ascend after 32 years. Afterwards, he worked as a cattle farmer.
He is survived by his stepfather Jerry Smith, as well as his many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 on Thursday, October 29th at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gregg Loner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
