Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Floyd and Lena Blanchett Walker. She had attended Barkers Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Milliken& Company – Pendleton Plant. Christine’s favorite pastimes were cooking and reading books. She dearly loved her fur babies, Baby Girl, Bootsie and Radar. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are: her niece, Wanda Rogers of Anderson; and her long time companion, Jasper “Gene” Ashley of Honea Path.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Diane Walker and Betty Dixon.
Funeral services will be private.
