Honea Path – Mrs. Azilee Wilson Thomas of 250 Wildwood Drive, wife of Leon E. Thomas, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at AnMed Hospital.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Zoie Wilson and a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are: a son, Ray Thomas and wife Stephanie of Anderson; a daughter, Judy Craft and husband Plumer of Honea Path; two brothers, Carl Wilson of Anderson and Felton Wilson of Simpsonville; a sister, Shelby Jean Davenport of Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Dana Boggs and husband Tommy of Belton, Shane McGuirt and wife Pam of Union, S.C., Kevin Craft and wife Mandy of Belton, Tommy Craft and wife Lisa of Anderson and Stacey Thomas of Anderson; seven great-grandchildren, Blake and Blair Fortner of Honea Path, Casey Thomas, Carolyn and Anna Craft all of Anderson, Shana McGuirt of West Union and Ross Craft of Belton.

She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Friday at Barkers Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3 PM prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Barkers Creek Baptist Church, 3207 Hwy 252, Honea Path, S.C. 29654.
