Robert Cox, Sr.

Belton – Robert Richard Cox, Sr., 60 of 203 Wright School Road, husband of Ruth Ann Harps Cox, died Tuesday, October 27 at his home.

Born in Canonsburg, Pa., he was a son of the late Alfred and Margaret Hegedus Cox. He was of the Catholic Faith and was a US Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife of the home; four sons, Robert Cox, Jr. of Texas, Alfred Cox, II and Shane Cox both of Cleveland, Ohio and David Allen of Rogersville, Alabama; two daughters; Darla Glenn of Easley and Carlene Exeline of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, William Cox and wife Deloris of Washington, Pa. and Arnold Cox and wife Carole of Cleveland, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three four legged children, Precious, Patches and Gypsy.He was pre-deceased by three sisters; Dorothy Restanio, Shirley Halley and Margaret Benning,

Funeral services will be conducted 11 A.M. Saturday in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with Father Hayden Vaverek officiating.
