Vivian F. White

VIVIAN WHITE

Vivian Fisher White, 87 met her Beloved Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

A Honea Path native, Mrs. White was the wife of Herbert M. White and the daughter of the late William Crayton and Carrie Wells Fisher. She was a home maker and a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.

She was a pioneer of the Ware Shoals Garden Club, once serving four offices at once through her deep love of flowers and her many loyal friends. She was a person whose inward and outward beauty conquered everyone she met and one whose deep love of God and her family made her a strong role model for anyone attempting to be the “perfect”
Mother and wife. Her infectious smile and unique sense of humor will live forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Her self-respect and dignity were always demonstrated by the way in which she lived and loved life. “Class” was often used by many as the best way to define her character and how she faced life’s hurdles.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her son Tony of Duncan; daughter Sonya (Leon) Wiggins of Columbia; a sister, Betty Lowe of Greenwood; granddaughter Sheri Jennelle (Jason) of Blacksburg, Va.; great grandchildren Emma Grace and Jason Skye Jennelle of Blacksburg, Va.

Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 3 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home on Friday, December 18, 2009 with service conducted by Reverend Leon Jones immediately following in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
