Junior McCoy

Honea Path - Mr. Junior Oliver McCoy, 75, of 116 Bowen Ford Road, husband of Rebecca McCall McCoy, died at his home Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Jim and Jimmie Ashley McCoy. He was of the Baptist Faith and was twice married first to the late Alma Jean Whitfield McCoy.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: two sons, Stanley McCoy of Honea Path and Marty McCoy of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Clarence McCoy of Honea Path, Fred Dean and Curtis McCoy of Anderson and Thomas Rae of Belton; four sisters, Etrulia Bell of Honea Path, Edith Brock of Belton, Minnie Lee McMahan of Belton and Dorothy Gene Brown of Newberry; one grandchild, one great-grandchild, five step-grandchildren and nine great-step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2PM Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Fuller and Rev. Frankie McClain officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Thursday.
