Belton – Edwin “Ed” Knox Alewine, 88, of 229 Alewine Road, widower of Ethel Pauline Beauford Alewine, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.

Ware Shoals- Loreen Haygood Pitts, 88, widow of Charles M. Pitts, of 184 Balentine Lake Road, passed away June 6, 2012 at her home.

Honea Path – Bryan Keith Wideman, 43, husband of Leisa Campbell Wideman, of 236 Irwin Mill Road, died Monday June 4, 2012 at his home.

 Honea Path – Vivian Marcene Bailey Malko, 84, widow of Bogdan Buddy Malko, died Monday June 4, 2012 at NHC Anderson.

Ware Shoals- Joanne Emerson Clamp, 72, widow of Marvin Jack Clamp died May 30, 2012  at Hospice House in Greenwood.  She was born in Greenwood County, a daughter of the late Willie Calvin and Margaret Grace Martin Emerson.  Mrs. Clamp had been owner and operator of Clamp’s Food Store and was a former member of Ware Shoals Town Council.   She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.

 Hodges – Julia Charline Zyla Burton, 70, wife of James “Spud” Burton, of 1505 Morgan Road, died Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Belton – James Clayton Rowland, 60, husband of Angela Vaughn Rowland, of 119 Rushton Road, died Friday May 18, 2012, at his home.

Ware Shoals – Elizabeth Louise Long Lagrone 74, wife of Robert Lagrone of 802 Buddy Knight Road, died Sunday May 13, 2012 at Hospice of the Piedmont.
