Tammy “Tambo” Seigle
Tammy Lynette Seigle, also known as Tambo, passed away on January 15, 2024, in Pelzer, South Carolina. She was 53 years old. Tammy was born on October 11, 1970, in Easley, SC, and was the beloved daughter of Starr Posey and the late Roger Posey.

Honea Path – Sarah Ruth Mattison, 77, of Pruitt Street, died Friday, January 12, 2024 at Heartland Health Care Center in Greenville.
Keith Burton
Honea Path – Keith Thomas Burton, 57, husband of Tammy Melissa Getsinger Burton, of Canfield Road, died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Jesse Harold and Milwea Davis Burton. He was co-owner of The Burton Company in Greenwood. Keith was a very caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his children so much and cherished his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: two sons, Austen (Reagan) Burton of Belton and Niles (Cheri) Williams of Honea Path; his daughter, Jodi Burton of Belton; his brother, Steven (Cindy) Burton of Abbeville; seven grandchildren, Audry Marie, Liam Niles, Gavim Riggs, Bratten Colt, Crayton Lane, Tucker Lane, and “Baby Buck” due in February; and his favorite dog Jack, (It was a love/hate relationship).
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Burton Family Cemetery, 209 Canfield Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path with a procession to the graveside service following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital at lovetotherescue.org

Frank Moore Cooper, Jr.
Ware Shoals – Frank Moore Cooper, Jr., 70, husband of Susan Elaine Saxon Cooper, of Indian Mound Road, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at NHC – Laurens.
Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of the late Frank Moore, Sr., and Ada Henderson Cooper. He retired from Daniel Construction and was the former co-owner of Chapman and Cooper Cabinet Shop in Waterloo.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 49 years of the home are: two daughters, Cayla (Cody) Quinn of Ware Shoals and Cristi Hawkins of Waterloo; two sisters, Gail Smith and Karen LaRoche both of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Lacey Hawkins, Amber Hawkins, Jacob Baldwin, Colby Quinn, Brady Quinn and Cayleigh Quinn; one great-grandchild, Ryder Trotter; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Mt Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Cayla, 263 Pine Wood Dr. Ware Shoals and will receive friends from 12noon – 2 P.M. Thursday at the church prior to the service.
