Honea Path – Annie “Sissy” Laura Shirley Strickland, 92, widow of the late James Milton Strickland, of Hwy 20, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, March 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Honea Path – Timothy “Tim” James McMillan, 69, husband of Marsha Ann Tumblin  McMillan, of Saw Mill Road, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Honea Path – Sheila Renee Johnson Todd, 55, widow of the late Robert “Slick” Todd, of Blue Willow Circle, died Monday, February 26, 2024 at her home.

Honea Path – Nancy Lulabelle Brock Gambrell, 80, widow of the late Marvin Gambrell, formerly of Honea Path, died Monday, February 26, 2024 at McCormick Acute Care.

Honea Path – Marilyn Elaine Turner Campbell, 70, wife of Jimmy Ray Campbell, of Mt Bethel School Road, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Ware Shoals - Betty Jean Sharpe Boggs, widow of Clarence L. Boggs of Ware Shoals died Wednesday, February 14 at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

 Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Frank Pressley and Cleo Wells Sharp. She was a faithful member of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was retired from her work in manufacturing, having worked most recently at Becton, Dickenson & Co., and Richloom.

Mrs. Boggs is survived by her daughter Debbie Boggs of Ware Shoals, her brother-in-law Cecil Boggs, her sister-in-law Virginia Boggs and her special friend Henrietta Baker.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Frank Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Anthony Irby and Rev. Mac Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Honea Path – Patricia “Pat” Louise Whitfield Smith, 81, widow of William Archie Smith, of Earl Shirley Road, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Kay Willis Burns, 62, beloved wife of Rusty Burns, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 2, 2024. Of Honea Path, she was the cherished daughter of the late George Kenneth and Betty Kay Willis.
