Greenwood – Brenda Raines Madden, 71, widow of James Kelly Madden of Iroquios Dr., Greenwood, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home.

Greenwood - Josephine “Jo” Wright Lee, 86, wife of John Robert Lee of 170 Highland Drive, died Saturday at her home.

Belton – Terry Gene Garrett, 62, husband of Mary Hammond Garrett, of Brown Ave. Ext., died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at his home.

Ware Shoals – Philip Hiot Balentine, 91, of Homers Path, husband of Brenda Nance Balentine died Friday, April 24, 2020 at his home.

Ware Shoals – Roy Eugene Tutton, 81, widow of Cynthia Laverne Nabors Tutton, of Maddox Bridge Road, died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Hodges – Carolyn Gambrell Davis, 56, wife of Terry Lee Owens, of Morgan Road, died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Margaret Elaine Cely Ashley, 72, wife of John Barnett Ashley, Jr., of Emma Drive, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Belton – Mary Gwenn Pratt Stewart, 85, wife of Gary Albert Cobb, of Blue Ridge Avenue, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Etowah TN, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lily Taylor Pratt. Mary retired from The Greenville News.

Surviving are a son: Howard Stewart (Saundra) of Belton; three daughters: Betty Harless (Billy) of Travelers Rest, Sara Spangler (Chuck) of Belton, and Sue Clontz of Anderson; sixteen grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and a son-in-law: Wesley Barbare.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldean Barbare and  four brothers: Roy Pratt, Burt Pratt, Wallace Payne, and Westin Payne.
