Greenwood – Virgie Mae Warren Edwards, 82, of Greenwood, died Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Honea Path - Marie Evelyn Adams Broadwell, 92, widow of James Monroe Broadwell, of Blue Barker Road, died Friday, July 19, 2024 at her home.

Katie Bell Phillips Lollis, 95, of Donalds went on her last journey on July 11, 2024 when she finally met Jesus face to face. This journey was planned when she asked Jesus into her heart many, many years ago. She would often say “God is good” and now she gets to experience the goodness of God and reunite with her beloved husband Leon, who has been gone since 2009.

Ware Shoals – Mary Beth Smith Dutton, 97, of Ware Shoals, widow of Sam Dutton, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at NHC in Greenwood, SC.

Pamela Jean Kelly Lloyd, 63, of Anderson, died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at AnMed Health in Anderson.

Hodges – Woodrow Alan Motes, 59, widower of Deborah Michelle Motes of Hodges died Sunday, June 16.

Janice Lorene Page Jenkins, 76, widow of Larry Richard Jenkins, of Shady Grove Road, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Donald and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Page. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired as Bank Manager from First Federal Savings and Loan of Honea Path. She loved her husband, children, and her extended family. She took great Joy in helping to raise her grandchildren, as well as her new twin great-granddaughters.

She is survived by a son, Larry “Richie” Jenkins, Jr. (Dana) of Honea Path, a daughter, Travis Crump (David) of Honea Path, a sister, Brenda Pruitt (Butch) of Anderson, four grandchildren, Clayton Jenkins, Dustin Jenkins, Page Hedden (Thomas), and Anna Lawton (Jacob) and her twin great-granddaughters, Amelia and Cecilia Hedden.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a brother, James Douglas Page.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Hunter Ramsey. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery
