Betty Boggs

Ware Shoals - Betty Jean Sharpe Boggs, widow of Clarence L. Boggs of Ware Shoals died Wednesday, February 14 at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

 Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Frank Pressley and Cleo Wells Sharp. She was a faithful member of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was retired from her work in manufacturing, having worked most recently at Becton, Dickenson & Co., and Richloom.

Mrs. Boggs is survived by her daughter Debbie Boggs of Ware Shoals, her brother-in-law Cecil Boggs, her sister-in-law Virginia Boggs and her special friend Henrietta Baker.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Frank Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Anthony Irby and Rev. Mac Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
