Honea Path – Robert “Robbie” Ellis MacLean, 58, of Carolina Avenue, died Saturday, February 19, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Honea Path – Christel Else Bartsch Meyer, 85, widow of William Tracy Meyer, Jr., of Honea Path, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House.

Ware Shoals – Narsie Elizabeth Grant Bayne, 90, formerly of E. Cork St., widow of Charles William Bayne, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.

Waterloo – Doris Coker, 90, widow of Bobby Franklin Coker, of Smith Village Road, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Ware Shoals - Leisa Diane Wideman, 48, of Highway 25, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Belton – Paul Gary Beach, 54, of Brock Road, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Ware Shoals – Norma Frances Bolt Evans, 93, of Dairy St., widow of Clyde H. Evans, died Monday, February 7, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Honea Path – Jerry Wilton “Skeet” Shaw, 87, husband of Helen Louise Stone Shaw, of Cannon Street, died Monday February 7, 2022 at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Marsell, Sr. and Frances Rebecca Pearson Shaw. He was a member of Honea Path First Assembly of God and retired from Chiquola Mills. Skeet loved working in his garden, fishing, hunting, and baseball. He also loved to cook chow chow, hash, and many other treats. 

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: a son, Donnie Wayne Shaw of Honea Path; his daughter, Kimberly Jane Ballard of Honea Path; a sister, Sue Shaw Guest of Honea Path; a daughter-in-law, Joey Shaw of Honea Path; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Skeet was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robby and Jerry Shaw; five brothers; and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Bob Koenigsmann officiating.
