Iva – Hazel Ruth McConnell Maxwell, 81, widow of Olin G. Maxwell, formerly of 563 Highway 184 N., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 at National Health Care of Anderson.

Anderson – Dr. William Harold Miller, 73, husband of Anna Chadwick Miller, of 100 Aspen Way, died at his home, Thursday, December 22, 2011.

Ware Shoals – Elmer William Hodges, 83, devoted brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor, died December 21 2011, at his home following health problems.

Rock Hill, SC -Mrs Glenda Ann Rice Ridge, 52, of Rock Hill, SC died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her home.

Ware Shoals – Simmie Boland Mitchell, 93, formerly of Ware Shoals, widow of Erskine Mitchell, died Wednesday, at National Healthcare of Anderson.

She was the last surviving member of her family and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

 Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Marcus Bishop officiating.

Honea Path – Mrs. Betty Ruth Parris Phillips, 75, of Hosanna Health Rehab, widow of James “Catbutter” Milton Phillips, went to be with the Lord on December 21^st, 2011.

Honea Path – Troy Ted Knight, 49, of 102 Hammett St., died Tuesday December 20, 2011 at North Greenville Hospital.

 

Hodges – Betty Ruth Gambrell Davis, 80, wife of Broadus “Peanut” Davis, of 4624 Moorefield St., died Monday December 12, 2011 at her home.

Honea Path – Myra Joan Richey Kelly, 75, widow of Melvin E. Kelly, died Thursday at her home.
