Steve Coker
Honea Path – Steve Marshall Coker, 77, husband of Jeannette “Rat” Ladd Coker of Shaw Rd., died Sunday, September 11, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Belton, he was a son of the late Claude Leman and Mellie Jennings Coker. He was a deacon at Big Creek Baptist Church in Williamston, and was retired from his work as a control room operator for Duke Energy at Lee Steam Station. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Coker is survived by his daughter Stephanie Coker Harrelson of Anderson, his sister Joyce Hill of Anderson, and his granddaughter Lauren Brooke Harrelson.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers: Eddie, Roger, and Danny Coker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 14 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Honea Path. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home, and will receive friends from 10-11:30 AM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home, prior to the service.
