Clara Marcelle Black, widow of Guy Wilbur Black, went to be with Jesus, Friday, March 27, 2026, at her home. She was 98 years old.

Honea Path – Bradley Thomas Sutherland, 67, husband of Susan Adeline Ashley Sutherland of Honea Path, died Friday, February 27, 2026 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Ralph and Beatrice “Betty” Geneva Wunder Sutherland.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, Brad is survived by his son Bradley Justin Sutherland and wife Keller of Livingston, MT; his daughter Amanda Lashay Schronce and husband Jason of Honea Path; two brothers: Barry Sutherland and wife Ellen of Possum Kingdom and Garry Sutherland of Anderson; five sisters: Sonya Sue McMahan of Anderson, Connie Erskine and husband Larry of Belton, Bonnie Demery of Anderson, Linda Bullock and husband Rob of Pendleton and Carla Richey and husband Roger of Honea Path; seven grandchildren: Austin Schronce and wife Katelyn, Gracie Schronce, Ty Schronce, Hayes Sutherland, Hank Sutherland, Wells Sutherland and Callie Rose Sutherland; and one great-grandchild: Axeton Schronce.

He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Blankenship.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Phillips and Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
