Honea Path – Patricia Ann Dodson Pitts, 65, wife of Jimmy Pitts, of 406 Saluda St., died Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Miami University Hospital.

Honea Path – Mrs. Frances Eleanor Copeland Williams, 90, widow of James Henry Williams, of 306 Samuel Road, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home. 

Ware Shoals – Bobby M. Timmerman, 67, of 20 Circle Street, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at his home.

Born in Ware Shoals on Lee Street, he was a son of the late Colie L. and Delytha Naomi Craig Timmerman. He was retired from Riegel Textile Corporation.

He is survived by one son; Tony Timmerman of Ware Shoals, two sisters; Jane Page of Ware Shoals and Martha Allen of Greenwood, two grandchildren; T. J. Timmerman, Jr. and Toby Blake Timmerman, both of Ware Shoals. He was predeceased by an infant son; Bobby Eugene Timmerman, and a daughter; Elaine Harter and a brother; Bruce Terry Timmerman.  He also leaves behind his special pet “Lou.”

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at 3 PM at Oakbrook Memorial Park with the Rev. Mac Jones officiating.

Ware Shoals – Jerry Lee “Toby” Watts Sr., 72, widower of Peggy Jo Davis Watts of 10384 Indian Mound Rd. died Monday, March 26, 2011 at his home.

Hodges - Mary Geraldine Balthazar Penley, 86 of 2611 Sam Hodges Road died Friday, March 23, 2012, at National Health Care of Laurens.  She was born in Kankakee, Ill., a daughter of the late Fred and Emma Benjamin Balthazar.  She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church including the Golden Agers Sunday School Class. Mrs. Penley was retired from General Foods Corp.
