Ware Shoals – Joretta “Jo” Brissey Bradley, 91. wife of the late Robert Eugene Bradley, Sr., of Ware Shoals, passed away November 1, 2023 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, S.C.

Greenwood – Betty Louise Brown Schumpert, 93, of Stonehaven Drive, widow of James Luther “Pete” Schumpert, died Tuesday November 2, 2023 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Ware Shoals – Janice Simpson McDonald went to heaven on Monday, October 30, 2023.  She fought a long courageous battle with cancer and remained positive throughout. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School and attended Winthrop College. Janice enjoyed gardening, crosswords and other word puzzles, and liked watching game shows on TV. Reading was one of her favorite interests. She was a hard and faithful worker with many years as a retail training coordinator in Dallas and Plano, TX. After returning to SC, she was employed at Consolidated Tires in Greenville in accounts payable until she retired when she loved trips to the beach and mountains.

Mrs. Margaret Elaine Wilson McQueen, 68, of Yemassee, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, October 26, 2023, at her residence.  She was the widow of the late Michael Keith McQueen.

Waterloo – Joseph “Joey” Mark Owens, Sr., widower of Shirley Louise Jordan Owens, of Indian Mound Road, died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Hospice of Laurens County.
